Dr. Jovanka Trifunovic is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Basic and Preclinical Dentistry of the Faculty of Dentistry in Pančevo, University of Economics and Business in Novi Sad. She graduated at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 2007. She completed her internship at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. She completed her Academic specialist studies in the field of Forensic Pathology & Expert Diagnosis in 2009, and her PhD studies in the field of molecular medicine in 2018 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. In 2013, she passed the Specialist studies in pathological anatomy at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.
She trained in Slovenia (2009 and 2013) at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, in Italy (2012), in Pisa as part of the European School of Pathology and in Norway (2015) at the Norwegian Radium Hospital in Oslo. Dr. Trifunović is the author and co-author of professional papers that have been published in scientific and professional journals, proceedings at domestic and international symposia and congresses. She is a member of Serbian Medical Society (SLD), Society of Pathologists and Cytologists of Serbia (UPCS), Serbian Society for the Fight Against Cancer, Serbian Anatomical Society and European Society of Pathologists (ESP).
